Fieldwork {FW} Fashion Fieldwork allows students to strengthen their knowledge through observation, experimentation, research, and firsthand exploration. Assignments are designed to encourage students to examine fashion beyond theory and develop a deeper understanding of personal style, color, design, textiles, trends, culture, and the relationship between fashion and identity.
Operations {O} Fashion Operations allow students to apply what they have learned through strategic, hands-on projects. Operations turn knowledge into practical experience and may involve creating, styling, redesigning, documenting, presenting, organizing, or executing a fashion-related project.
FW + O may be completed independently or as content creation, allowing students to document their process through photography, video, social media, portfolios, lookbooks, or other creative formats.

Participation in events, workshops, field trips, showcases, competitions, and other extracurricular experiences may be optional, limited, location-dependent, or subject to separate requirements, availability, and eligibility.
Participation & Liability Students are responsible for determining whether a Fieldwork assignment, Operation, event, project, or activity is appropriate and safe for their individual circumstances. Baddie University does not supervise every activity completed independently by students. Tools & Equipment Students participating in sewing, garment construction, alterations, crafting, photography, styling, or other hands-on activities are responsible for using appropriate equipment safely and following applicable manufacturer, venue, and instructor guidelines. Field Trips & Off-Campus Activities Participation in activities outside of Baddie University's digital platform may involve transportation, public venues, third-party businesses, events, or other environments outside Baddie University's control. Students are responsible for their own transportation, personal belongings, conduct, and safety unless otherwise expressly stated for a specific event. Third-Party Participation Baddie University is not responsible for the actions, omissions, services, policies, products, or conduct of independent businesses, venues, photographers, designers, models, creators, instructors, or other third parties involved in or encountered through Fashion Ed activities. Students are responsible for obtaining appropriate permission before photographing or recording other individuals, private property, businesses, events, or copyrighted material. Students are responsible for the content they create, publish, submit, or distribute.
